Studio Update, Feb. 5, 2025

Here's what we're up to in the studio...
- Creating our first capsule
- Additional garments for capsule
- Pure silver crosses
- Completing painting
That's right, we're busy, but having fun, and because we're producing our first capsule, we decided to take extra time to walk in out in a couple of stages for a variety of reasons.
Smoothing out the process with our artisan partners is important because we feel it is important to responsibly value their work the same as we value ours. After-all, we can't offer you the stunning finished pieces we hope for if not for their measure of value they put into their own work.
It may take some time to work out the kinks in our unique system so that it is a free flowing process, befitting our creativity. This pace and process also allows us to focus on the intricacies of an individual piece and make sure it matches our vision of refined quality and beauty. Capsules may be completed by adding one garment at a time, or in small batch with a few produced at a time. Either way, it's well worth a frequent visit as we grow slowly, to become an organic vessel for sharing the power of creative beauty.
With this first capsule well on its way, we project it will be made available for pre-stock orders by April. Our artisan partner in India is busy with pattern-making and the first run of our samples, a box blouse, midi-dress, and ribbon tie made from beautiful lotus silk. The pattern(s) will be revealed very soon!
As the excitement brews for our first capsule samples, we're also sketching and planning the additional pieces that we will add to the collection, perhaps a long skirt, or flowing wide leg bottoms? I wonder what amazing fibers we'll use, perhaps linen or banana silk?
While that's all underway, I'm also focusing on creating more Brilliant Faith crosses to fill our art jewelry category. And though I had given painting a break for a number of months to focus on ridding brain fog and nurturing a healing journey that I am also embarked on, I am now also eager to finish a piece that's long been underway. Story of the field. I'll be sure to update again when I have great new pieces and paintings to share, and noteworthy news and announcements.
Thanks for checking in and thanks for being a part of this journey.
